An ongoing list of  Green Ideas that helped me get started,  feel free to leave your own “Green” Ideas! 

1. Inform yourself and others  
2. Use all -natural, biodegradable cat litter 
3. Use only CFL Lightbulbs, or even LEDs
4. Use Biodegradable Bags for pet waste
5. Take your own reusable travel mug wherever you go (most places offer a discount)
6. Buy products made out of recycled materials
7. Carry your own reusable shopping bag
8. Say no to disposables (razors, kitchen utensils, cups)
9. Recycle
10. Compost kitchen scraps and yard waste
11. Use rechargable batteries, solar charges
12. Limit use of dangerous cleaning products, go natural
13. Sign up for Green Power
14. Reduce the amount of plastic products you buy
15. Have a garage sale, use FreeCycle, Craigslist
16. Ride your bike, walk and drive less
17. Line Dry clothes
18. Be a Locavore (buy local produce, home goods, etc.)
19. Power down, turn off lights, unplug devices when not in use (i.e. the toaster, stereo)
20. Buy energy efficient appliances
